Dutch AI data platform Helin secures ten million euro growth investment

Rijswijk, the Netherlands, 22 January 2026 – Helin, the Dutch AI data platform and provider of industrial edge computing and analytics technology, has secured ten million euro growth investment. Helin enables companies in oil and gas, renewable energy, maritime and manufacturing industries to monitor, control and secure their installations in real time, anywhere in the world, using edge technology. The investment round was led by Amsterdam-based investment firm FORWARD.one and follows the securing of a loan from Rabobank. With the new funding, the scale-up will expand its international sales capacity and further develop its platform.

Helin unlocks the full potential of industrial assets by replacing fragmented on-site software and slow cloud analytics with a single, secure platform that runs directly on industrial assets such as vessels, offshore platforms and remote energy sites. The platform combines hardware, software, and connectivity in one system, allowing customers to deploy applications quickly without changing their IT setup. Because the software runs on site, Helin continues to operate when connectivity drops. This enables real-time decisions in offshore and remote environments where delays, downtime, or loss of control are not an option. “We already run in critical industrial environments,” said Martijn Handels, co-founder and CPTO of Helin. “This investment allows us to scale deployments faster while continuing to meet and optimise strict requirements on uptime, latency, and security.”

Helin operates globally and now employs over eighty people. The company's signed ARR has grown twelve-fold over the past three years.
